Happiness
This is going to sound really strange but we are not that big on happiness! (we told you it would sound strange) A quote in one of Richard’s books sums it up well…
‘Happiness and unhappiness are merely the high and low tides on the edge of a great sea called contentment’
So what does that mean? In a nutshell we (or in other words The Script) have made it not ok to be unhappy! Think about it, the single biggest measure within most personal development is whether we are happy or positive and that is simply not a consistently natural state.
There is enough recorded evidence to record the fact that Jesus was a mega, mega cool guy but he still over turned a few tables in the temple!
BC is totally unique in this respect: it works whether you feel happy or not, whether you are feeling positive or negative. How does it do that? Happy and positive is all about behaviour, they are the by products of how we think, well BC works on the level of consciousness which is way above the level of behaviour. Sometimes people ring us at The Ministry of Inspiration when it is not a good day, they ask ‘How are you?’ Our reply will always be ‘we are amazing but our day is crap!’ Have you any idea how powerful that statement is? It’s saying, I am not my behaviour I am much more than that.
Measuring how and who we are by our behaviour is putting massive pressure on us. Happiness is like night and day, high and low, soft and hard. There are natural opposites to everything, they are actually just the flip side of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other, so to make one half wrong is madness.
So what will BC give you the ability to be content whether you are happy or not, it will get you to measure your life by something that is consistent, not by something that is up and down like a yo yo.
